The first two dredges in the series, the Sommers and the Kronshlot, have already been deployed by Rosmorport in sea areas of and approaches to Makhachkala and Ust-Luga seaports.
Experts have given them high marks for the operational characteristics their dredging equipment, and the excellent performance of both general shipboard systems and specific systems related to loosening, excavation and dumping of material.
The Kadosh is intended for operation at the port of Tuapse.
Located on the Volga River, Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard is one of Russia's oldest shipbuilding companies, with a reference list that includes more than three hundred submarines and rescue vessels including 25 nuclear vessels .
Currently, the shipyard specializes in commercial vessels meeting the requirements of international conventions on reliability and safety.
